Tatjana Bluchel brings a unique blend of creativity and technical skill to every project she touches. Originally from Helmbrechts, Germany, Tatjana moved to Los Angeles after earning her BA in Psychology and Theatre and completing an MFA in Film Production.

Her passion lies in producing thought-provoking, genre-driven films and crafting transformative makeup and special effects that bring characters to life. With a background spanning both sides of the camera, Tatjana thrives in collaborative environments where storytelling and visual artistry meet.

Her work has been recognized across the festival circuit, most recently with the award-winning horror short “Glaistig,” which earned Best Horror Short and Best Makeup at multiple film festivals. She also co-produced and led makeup and special effects for short films including “Hindsight,” “Hausfrau,” “Influencer,” and “In the Walls.”

Tatjana is one half of the creative duo behind Black Cat Productions, working alongside her husband, Director and Producer Cody Boesen.
