Director / Writer / Producer
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Cody earned a degree in Visual Communications, where he specialized in photography, editing, computer animation, and film production. After relocating to Los Angeles to gain further experience on film sets, he started directing spec projects and shorts. He directed the horror ‘Crucero’ and the dark comedy ‘Conversations With Lucifer’, as well as comedian Mike Marino’s “Make America Italian Again” web series, all of them went on to win multiple awards in the festival circuit.
Cody Boesen wrote, co-produced and directed the Black Cat Productions short films “Hindsight,” “Hausfrau,” “Influencer,” and “In the Walls,” which have all won multiple awards in film festivals, including “Best Stories” for “Hausfrau.”
